Students and their Campus stories
The real experiences of international and domestic students as they navigate independence, change, challenges, and belonging on campus.
About us
This term, we set out to document the lives of international students their successes, struggles, and the experiences that shaped their journeys. None of us had made a documentary before, so we learned as we went. We started with one simple question: “What are their stories?” We answered it with cameras, recorders, countless conversations, and a lot of walking.

I’m a third-year Computer Science student from India who has spent the past three years at TRU learning, adapting to a new culture, and experiencing what it’s like to build a life away from home. Through my own journey, I’m passionate about sharing stories that capture the experiences, challenges, and perspectives of students from different backgrounds.

I’m an international student from India currently studying Computer Science. I’m passionate about combining technology with creativity and finding new ways to turn ideas into meaningful experiences. I believe that every story deserves to be seen, heard, and understood. In my words, “A story nobody can read is a story half told”

I’m an international student from Kenya currently studying Psychology and Creative Writing. I’m interested in exploring the integration of creative arts and psychology, particularly how creative approaches can be used to promote better mental health and well-being among university students, both international and domestic.
